1/1 Publication

This handmade publication was made as a look-book for my collection “Ornament & Thrift”.

It is bound with photographs of Saskatchewan, images of garments and collected print material.

Made from wild seeds, pieces of my grandmother’s lace and metal scraps, these gloves reveal the potential in humble materials. Whether a tiny seed or a rusty screw, each element holds the possibility of transformation; to grow into something beautiful when given the right care.

Wild Seed Gloves

Mechanics of Decay

Using found metals, beads, and broken jewelry, this piece reimagines and mends a damaged 1920s beaded purse. The work explores the history of value and the shifting meanings of worth, transforming discarded materials into something new. Drawing inspiration from historical craft techniques, it reinterprets traditional design through the lens of modern materials, challenging what is considered valuable while looking to the artistry of the past.
